This month I set out on a journey around the South Broad Ripple neighborhood to show you some of the amenities that come with living in/near South Broad Ripple (Kessler to 46th & Keystone to College). Check out the photoblog of a stroll around SoBro with brief descriptions of some amazing local spots!

Canterbury Park: A quaint park off of Carvel between Kessler and 54th street with a playground, swings, picnic tables, and even a sand volleyball court.

Luna Music: Luna is an independent record store and more. Stop in to browse their amazing collection.

Civvies: This local urban boutique is my go-to when I need a few new pieces in my closet!

Mama Corollas: “Best Italian in Indianapolis” serving up big Italian flavor with an even bigger heart.

Nicole Taylor’s: The sign says it all. Homemade pasta, lots of local market items, fresh cheeses, and they even serve lunch! Nicole Taylor’s also offers a Chef’s Table on Wednesday nights that is its best-kept secret.

Scarlet Lane Brew SoBro: A local brewery with a unique flair serving Asian pub food.  There are four locations around Indiana including one at 46th and College!

54th & College: This intersection is a very popular one in SoBro for good reason. Here you’ll find local favorites to include The Jazz Kitchen, Twenty Tap, Moe and Johnny’s, Fat Dan’s, and beyond!

Luna Music: Luna is an independent record store and more. Stop in to browse their amazing collection.

Root & Bone: A newer spot in SoBro, with a hospitable environment and delicious southern food. The brunch menu is comfort food at it’s finest.

Walter Knabe: Local artist with a signature style & a studio/shop right off of 54th street. Walter does fine art, limited editions, fabric, wall coverings and more.

Gallery Pastry Shop: The chic setting makes this a lovely place for brunch or even to pop in for one of their divine pastries, like a French Macaroon.
